Began her permanent makeup career in February of 2016 after microblading her very first client in Chicago, her home prior to Philadelphia.
As a tattoo studio manager that took on roles of a tattoo apprentice, she was well versed in every aspect of tattooing, from customer service & booking to breaking down machines, sterlizing, and maintining proper health standards in the indrustry.
This gave her the confidence to dive into a world very few had entered at that time..
With only the mentorship of tattoo artists, she found her way in the permanent makeup industry.
Through trial and error she fearlessly paved the way for many others who began with no leadership, classes, or apprenticeshp opportunities just like her.
A couple of years later she found herself offering microblading at her local west philly tattoo studio in her brand new hometown of Philadelphia. Five years into her career she realized there were no permanent makeup studios focusing and specializing solely on permanent makeup.
She understood that the art of cosmetic tattooing requires full dedication just like regular tattooing and thought, “if it does'n’t exist then why not create it?”
After saving every penny she opened her doors in March of 2021.
At Bolt Brow you will find artists that have completed a 3 year tattoo apprenticeship which cuts us above the rest. We are committed to the craft, constantly continuing education to be up to date on the latest techniques as well as creating a space for clients to feel empowered and also fostering a community for future artists to learn the way of the PMUA.
She is a proud latina who is living proof that you can achieve anything you put your mind and heart to.
